TOM BLAKEMAN
Dr. Blakeman is a General Practitioner and Professor of Primary Care at The University of Manchester with expertise in implementation research focused on patient safety across systems of care for people with complex health and care needs. He is particularly interested in developing, implementing, and evaluating strategies to improve care and outcomes for people with chronic kidney disease (CKD) and/or who have experienced acute kidney injury (AKI), while navigating the challenge of avoiding ‘too much medicine’.
